Liz Murphy

Mom of three. New Westminster lifer. The realtor families call when the conversation is bigger than a house.

Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designated.

Liz Murphy is a mom of three with a real estate career that started outside of Canada and has come full circle back to New Westminster. She spent years living in Mexico, where she worked in international real estate and learned how transactions look when you're working in a different language, different legal systems, and with clients who are usually a long way from home. That experience left her with a steadiness most agents don't get to develop until much later, and a real soft spot for clients who are doing something that feels enormous and unfamiliar.

She's a long-time New Westminster resident and knows the neighbourhood the way someone knows it when they raise kids there. School catchments, the difference between two seemingly identical streets, which strata buildings have actually been well-managed: she's lived through most of it.

Where Liz has quietly built the deepest part of her practice is with seniors and their families. She's the realtor people call when a parent can no longer make decisions for themselves and the family is suddenly facing a sale, a downsize, a power-of-attorney conversation, or all three at once. It's emotional work. It involves a lot of waiting in living rooms, a lot of explaining things slowly, and a lot of being the calm person in a room of people who are not feeling calm. Liz is exceptionally empathetic by nature, and she's made a real practice out of helping seniors understand the options actually available to them, instead of being pushed toward whatever's fastest. She is SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designated.

That depth doesn't narrow her client base. Liz works with first-time buyers all the way up through luxury, and she'll tell you the work is the same: listen first, then give people the version of the truth that helps them decide.
