The City of Port Moody has announced a $3,100 campaign to make sure local residents are kept informed on the city’s development.
The campaign has already been endorsed by the city council, but money has yet to be procured for it. Once implemented, the campaign will include information on:
- up-to-date census information
- city growth projections
- transit development updates
- development applications
- the city’s official community plan
- how development affects traffic
- traffic improvements
This information will be included in a 4-page newsletter distributed to Port Moody homes and businesses, newspaper and online ads, and email updates.
