Port Moody Brewery: Twin Sails Brewing

Twin Sails Brewing opened in Port Moody in 2015 and is located right next to Yellow Dog on Brewers Row. It was founded by twin brothers Cody and Clay Allmin (which gave rise to the name) with a focus on German-style beers. Since that time, it has expanded to a wider range of styles but still brews German beers such as the Hefeweizen. Several IPAs are now prominent on the brewery’s list.

Draught beer is served in the tasting room in both 12oz glasses and 4oz tasters (also available in a flight of three beers). The tasting room also offers growler fill and off-sales of cans and bottles. Twin Sails serves a rotating selection of beers in the tasting room, and you can find the current beer menu on the brewery’s website.

Kids are welcome at Twin Sails. While the adults drink their beer, children have a variety of soft drinks to choose from. If you get peckish while at the brewery, Twin Sails sells bread and sausages to keep you going. On occasion, food trucks will park outside, and you are also allowed to bring your own food to eat in the tasting room.
