Lafarge Winter Lights Display

If you haven’t already, discover the beautiful winter wonderland at Lafarge Lake. The annual (free) light display at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam is enough to get anyone into the festive spirit.

It is gorgeous and well worth visiting with friends or family (just think of the Instagram opportunities!). It is easy to get to thanks to free parking off Trevor Wingrove Way and the nearby Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station. The lights will be on from sundown until 11 pm every evening until January 21st, 2018, so you’ve got plenty of time to go and check them out.

There will also be various special events and activities taking place over the festive period:

  • Friday, December 22nd, 7 pm to 8 pm – Jingle Bells Night – Christmas carols by the lake
  • Saturday, December 23rd, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm – Light-Making Workshop – Use an old pop bottle to make a lovely lantern
