Take the Coquitlam Crunch Challenge

On Saturday, September 9th, 2017, will walk the Coquitlam Crunch Trail to raise money for a Diversity Initiative Fund in Coquitlam. The trail covers 2.2 km and rises to the top of Westwood Plateau.

The event was started in 2010 by local resident Alexander Bell. Since then, the annual event has raised more than $16,000. You can get involved either by taking on the Coquitlam Crunch Challenge or by donating.

There are three ways to take part in the Coquitlam Crunch Challenge:

  • The Stair Master – 8 am to 8:30 am – See how fast you can climb the 437 stairs on the trail.
  • Make It or Break It – 9 am to 1 pm – See how many times you can walk up and down the Coquitlam Crunch Trail in the time limit.
  • Recreational – 10 am to 1 pm – Walk the trail at least once. Ideal for families.
