Port Moody’s city council is preparing a policy which would waive the $130 business licence fee for homeowners with legal secondary suites. Those homeowners with secondary suites would still need to get the licence but would no longer have to pay the fee. The council hopes that waiving the fee will encourage more homeowners to get a licence for a secondary suite.
